On the occasion of InnoTrans, ČD deployed for the first time a non-traction ComfortJet unit, namely 004, on the EC "Berliner" services on 24 and 25 September.
Starting Sunday 29 September 2024, ČD uses two ComfortJet non-traction multiple units (Nos. 004 and 005) into regular passenger service on the EC 178/175 and EC 176/177 "Berliner" Praha - Berlin trains.
