On 19 March 2025, Alstom announced it will supply the Eurométropole de Strasbourg and the Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS) with 27 new-generation Citadis trams that will reinforce CTS fleet from 2026.

On 19 March 2025, Alstom has been chosen by Le Havre Seine Métropole to supply the new trams for the extension of its tramway network.

On 10 December 2024, the new-generation Citadis trams entered service on line T1 of the Île-de-France Mobilités network.

On 11 November 2024, the Barcelona Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM) put into commercial service the new extension of Barcelona’s tramway, an extension of approximately two kilometres – that incorporates Alstom's innovative catenary-free technology, known as APS.

On 12 March 2024, Alstom has been chosen by Le Mans Métropole to extend the existing Citadis trams of the city.

On 3 January 2024 Alstom signed a more than 500 million EUR contract with The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) for AlUla's pioneering battery-powered tramway - the world's longest catenary-free line.

The Lille European Metropolitan Area has chosen Alstom to supply its new trams to replace existing rolling stock on the historic ‘Mongy’ line, which links the cities of Lille, Roubaix and Tourcoing. 

Toulouse Métropole and Tisséo (the transport authority of Toulouse), Brest Métropole (the transport authority of Brest) as well as Grand Besançon Métropole and Ginko (the transport authority of Besançon) have chosen Alstom for the acquisition of new generation trams. The group awarded Alstom with a frame agreement of eight years, including a minimum order of 22 trams.

On 25 April 2023 Alstom has been awarded a contract by Quebec City for the supply of 34 Citadises.

18 February 2023 saw the commercial launch of the two tramway lines in Mostaganem, Algeria.

On 13 April 2022, Alstom has signed a supply contract with Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main (VGF) for 13 Citadis trams.

On 8 September 2021, Keolis began operating and maintaining Dubai’s driverless metro network and operating the emirate’s tram network under a 15-year contract awarded by the Roads & Transport Authority on 31 January 2021.

On 10 April 2021, Keolis welcomed the first passengers on T9, the new tram line linking Paris to Orly in the Ile-de-France region.

On 12 January 2021, Alstom’s Citadis X05 trams have entered passenger service on the South Circular Light Rail line of Kaohsiung City in Taiwan.

On 25 November 2020, Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe has signed a contract with the Alstom/Kiepe Electric consortium for the supply of 64 Citadis low-floor trams.
