Framework agreement with DB for High Speed Grinding (HSG) for at least 13,000 km per year with a term of two years and extension options.

Vossloh is playing a central role in the modernization of Deutsche Bahn's main routes. One of Vossloh's rail replacement trains was used for the refurbishment of the Köln - Rhein/Main high-speed line.

On 30 July 2024, Vossloh France SAS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Werdohl-based Vossloh AG, signed an agreement with TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. regarding the acquisition of Sateba Group. 

On 6 June 2024, Vossloh, together with customers and partners, ceremoniously opened the first automated production facility for the self-developed composite sleeper Engineered Polymer Sleeper (EPS).

Vossloh has further strengthened its market position in China. Its subsidiary Vossloh Fastening Systems China was again commissioned to supply rail fastening systems for a section of a high-speed line currently under construction.

On 21 May 2024, Vossloh signed an agreement with the owners of its long-standing business partner Scandinavian Track Group (STG) to acquire the group.

Vossloh and DB Netz are continuing their successful cooperation in the field of preventive rail maintenance with the HSG (High Speed Grinding) technology developed by Vossloh.

The Oslo local transport operator Sporveien has ordered an HSG-city grinding machine to combine strategic goals like high customer satisfaction, maximum reliability and safety with an increased capacity of the network. 

On 16 May 2022, Vossloh announced that it has secured a strategically important contract to deliver rail fastening systems for a new high-speed line in northern Egypt.

On 19 January 2022, Vossloh announced that it was awarded a contract for the supply of three high-speed grinding machines (HSG-city) for use in the Shenzhen metro network.

On 6 May 2021, the Italian subsidiary Vossloh Rail Services (VRS) Italia was founded.

On 10 May 2021, Vossloh announced that it has been awarded an important framework contract, worth almost 40 million EUR, to supply tram turnouts until 2031. 

Since December 2020, DB Cargo has rented six Type DE 12 and seven type Type DE 18 diesel-electric locomotives.

Vossloh continues to fulfill its contract for the supply of rail fastening systems for a new-built heavy haul line in southern Mongolia.

Before the new metro Line 3 in Sofia went into operation on 26 August 2020, Vossloh gave the newly-laid rails an initial grinding to prepare them for service.
