First IC5 at VUZ Velim

On 2 September 2024, the first Class IC5 EMU for DSB arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre. It was built by Alstom, which is to deliver a total of 100 of these five-car sets, which belong to the Coradia Stream family. According to the April 2021 contract, these trains with a top speed of 200 km/h were to start passenger service in 2024; this is now not planned until 2027.
