Coradia EMU for Norske Tog at Velim

On 24 March 2025, an Alstom-built EMU for NorskeTog arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre. This is first train from the order from January 2022 for the supply of up to 200 regional units, when the first 30 six-car sets were ordered from the framework contract.

Then, in February 2023, another 25 units were ordered, which were originally of the Coradia Nordic type, while now in the new identity of Alstom's portfolio they already belong to the Coradia Stream family. It was originally planned that the first of them would be put into operation in 2025, but this will obviously not be possible.
