DE 18 Stage V locomotives for BBL LOGISTIK

In late June 2023 the BBL LOGISTIK group and Vossloh Rolling Stock signed a purchase contract for ten low-emission Type DE 18 Stage V locomotives. 

Jens Ziese, Managing Director of BBL LOGISTIK, explains: „With our decision in favour of this all-rounder locomotive, we meet our specific requirement to increase our capacities in the field of infrastructure construction and repair. Apart of the short delivery period, also the certified use of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils (HVO) without any adjustments to the vehicle was a decisive factor.“ After delivery by June 2024, the locomotives will also be used for domestic freight services. With this order, VRS win a new customer.
