Certification for EMKA2's traction motors

On 25 January 2024, TMH-Elektrotech received a certificate of compliance with the TR TS 001/2011 standards for the new Type DTA-125 asynchronous traction motors. They are designed for the Class EMKA2 locomotives built at NEVZ, which are the first electric shunters in the history of Russian (not Soviet) transport engineering, additionally equipped with traction batteries. 

In order to implement the project, TMH-Elektrotech carried out technological preparation for production and manufactured prototypes of the motors, which successfully passed the entire cycle of tests. The DTA-125 motors will be put into batch production in March 2024.
