Two More Class EP2D EMUs To Armenia

On 22 July 2021, TMH handed over two two-car Class EP2D EMUs to YuKZhD (Yuzhno-Kavkazskaya zheleznaya doroga, South-Caucasian wailway), which operates railways in Armenia. The contract was signed in March 2021, the trains were produced by DMZ works in Demikhovo.

The 3 kV DC units EP2D-0166 and 0167 will operate services on the Yerevan - Gyumri route. YuKZhD uses Class EP2Ds since 2018, having two such EMUs (EP2D-0001 and 0003) already in fleet.
