The First TGV M Has Arrived In Velim

The first pre-series TGV M arrived at the VUZ test base in Velim on 7 December 2022. After being presented at the Aytré (La Rochelle) works on 9 September 2022, it left on 25 November 2022 for transport to the Czech Republic, to undergo its first running tests as part of the approval process. Transport on Czech network was arranged by ČD Cargo, which it took it over in the Austrian border station of Summerau.

It is a nine-car set number 996, comprising the front power cars carrying EVN 93 87 0021 013 + 93 87 0021 014 and seven intermediate cars 93 87 0 211/212/214/215/216/218/219 996.
