More Yermaks For Uzbekistan

On 19 May 2020 Transmashholding announced that it has signed an agreement with UTI, the Uzbekistan national operator, for five more Class 3ES5K locomotives. These three-section 25 kV 50 Hz Yermaks will be built at NEVZ in 2020 and will incorporate the recent modification, which includes the individual axle regulation of a traction power. To date, the UTI uses two Class 3ES5K locomotives delivered in late 2018.
