Two More Class CR400AF HSTs

On 12 January 2021, Bombardier Transportation announced that its Chinese joint venture, Bombardier Sifang (Qingdao) Transportation Ltd. (BST), has been awarded a contract from China State Railway to supply two eight-car 350 km/h Class CR400AF Fuxing EMUs. The contract is worth around 38 million EUR, the trains are scheduled for delivery by the end of June 2021.

BST was first chosen to supply the new Chinese standard high-speed trains in 2018, and since then it has delivered a total of 448 Class CR400AF and CR400AF-A cars. Two months ago, BST was awarded an order to supply 14 250 km/h Class CR300AF trains.
