TGV M On Test At Velim

On 7 December 2022, TGV M 996 arrived in Velim. Testing at the VUZ centre, after making the necessary preparations, began just a few days after this moment, when already on 10 December it was possible to see this set running on the large circuit, as shown in the photo, but also in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDheFTIOrY8

Subsequently, the unit was fitted with a protective frontal shield to prevent damage to the train in the event of a collision with wild animals (this is also how the AGV unit was fitted in the past during tests here). Now we will be able to see the 996 at VUZ Velim test centre for a few months, but Alstom has two more pre-production sets available (997 was shown at Aytré on 9 September 2022).
