After a test operation with passengerswith 665.002 from the beginning of February 2024 to the end of May 2024 on the R23 Kolín - Ústí nad Labem line and after subsequent verification of parameters by the RegioJet with further deployment of the Class 665 from the end of October, the Siriuses have become a common sight on the route between the two cities since 15 December, where they complement one locomotive-hauled rake with a Class 162 locomotive.
To this end, the EMUs have been brought closer to the RegioJet design, as shown in the photo. Set 665. 002 was foiled on 9 - 10 November and 665.001 on 23 - 24 November 2024. Unit 665.003 (also built in 2019) arrived from China to the port of Hamburg in the second half of December and appeared as a "Christmas present" at RegioJet‘s Praha-Zličín works on the night of 23/24 December. RJ expects that 665.003 will enter service in late January or February 2025.
