First Class 530 Moravia EMU In Service

On 19 January 2023, the first four-car Moravia EMU was put into service. It was 530.003 and more precisely it started a test operation with passengers. The train started for the first time on S2 line at 11.00 h as Os 4714 Brno - Letovice service.

It is the first of 31 four-car units ordered by the Jihomoravský kraj (JMK, South Moravian Region). In addition, this week Škoda Group handed over to JMK all six two-car Class 550 Moravias, which can now be put into permanent revenue operation.
