BLS Cargo Vectron In Belgium

On 28 September 2020, BLS Cargo Vectron 475 419 came into Belgium for the first time. It arrived from Basel to Aachen and further onwards via Leuven to Muizen (near Mechelen). On the 29th of the month it realised its first training runs between Muizen and Namur and back.

Crossrail Benelux, which is 100% owned by BLS Cargo, is planning to use these locomotives with a D/A/B/CH configuration for hauling freights between Belgium and Switzerland.
