A Vectron Inside The Channel Tunnel

In late January 2013 Eurotunnel and Siemens tested Vectron AC 193 922 in the Channel Tunnel. The only modification necessary to the locomotive was the replacement of the two pantographs. The tests form part of Eurotunnel’s efforts to develop railfreight services between Britain and the continent.
