Vectron MS Approved For Czech Test Operation

On 7 November 2014 Drážní úřad granted six specific Vectron MS locomotives approval for test operation on the Czech network. The sextet includes those to be delivered to European Locomotive Leasing (ELL) over the coming weeks or months and to be hired to RegioJet for operation in Slovakia and to LTE. There is a 15-day period for appeals to be lodged by those involved following the announcement of the approval. Should there be none, the approval will be deemed valid. The same day, by coincidence, the 50th Siemens built locomotive for a private operator in Austria was handed over at a ceremony held in CargoServ’s WESTbox in Linz, and it was Vectron AC 193 203 for ELL, now hired to LTE.
