Vectron For Laude Smart Intermodal

On 3 December 2019 Laude Smart Intermodal signed a contract worth 3.81 million EUR with Siemens Mobility for delivery of one Vectron MS, after this manufacturer was announced preferred bidder in the concerning tender early October. This will be the 50th Vectron for the Polish market. This purchase is to be by 50 % supported by the EU’s Cohesion Fund through Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment (OPIE 2014 - 2020). Laude Smart Intermodal acts primarily as intermodal operator, however is currently in the process of issuing the railway operator's safety certificates.

In June 2019 Industrial Division signed a contract for five Vectron MS locomotives, worth around 22.4 million EUR, also to be purchased with 50 % support by the latter program.
