TSA Traction Motors For Civity Nordics

On 9 December 2021, TSA announced that it was contracted by CAF to design and manufacture traction motors for 28 Civity Nordic regional trains ordered by AB Transitio in April 2021. The contract includes 20 EMUs and 8 EDMUs intended for operation in four regions in Sweden.

The new traction motors were developed with an energy-optimised design, the delivery of the first new trains to AB Transitio is scheduled for late 2022.
