Tramformer

2050.LAB, the National Centre for Industrial Design and Innovation, presented its new design concept of the Tramformer tram at the stand of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on the „INNOPROM. Central Asia“ fair held in Tashkent between 25 and 27 April.

The main distinguishing feature of the Tramformer is a full-size screen on the front part of the cab. Huge LED areas allow any type of content - text and graphic information, dynamic stylised elements, themed images - to be displayed. 

Alexei Sharshakov, 2050.LAB chief designer said: „With the Tramformer, we tried to move away from traditional techniques in design and engineering. The design and engineering of the project is based on innovation. This gives ample opportunity for customisation of the tram's settings."
