Following their arrival in Copenhagen on 14 September and the necessary preparations, the first three Class EB Vectrons destined for DSB started test and driver’s training runs. On the 28th and 29th of the month each locomotive ran light from Copenhagen to Helsingør (north of the capital) and back on the Hector Rail license.
On 2 October 2020, EB 3203 ran two times between Copenhagen and Roskilde (east of the capital) with double deck cars, this being very first time with coaches and first time on the DSB license. Since then the Vectrons are being used for training purposes. The start of regular service is planned for 26 October.
