The complete end of service of the Class 150.2 locomotives and a significant decline in the deployment of the Class 151 is approaching every day. The Praha depot has so far diagrammed three last locomotives of Class 150.2 for the express trains of the line R41 "Vrchlice" Praha - Kutná Hora. Since Monday, 4 November 2024, only one diagram remains for this class (expected by the end of this timetable at the latest), as four new RegioPanter EMUs (two pairs) have been deployed to the other two diagrams.
Until recently, the Class 150.2 was also present on the Class 162 diagramms hauling the fast trains between Praha and Hradec Králové, but from about mid-2022 it was a rather sporadic occurrence and from about the end of January 2024 basically only quite sporadic (the last time probably in August).
The Class 151 is dislocated in Bohumín and hauls mainly IC and EC services on the Praha - Bohumín - Žilina route. Eight locomotives are planned to be in operation until 14 December. From the change of the timetable from 15 December 2024, only two Class 151 locomotives will remain in regular service on the fast trains "Labe" between Praha and Děčín. Most of the Class 150.2 and 151 locomotives will thus be gradually withdrawn from service, the reason being they were not fitted with the on-board ETCS. ČD is offering locomotives 150.203 and 225 for sale.
