Testing Of The First 16Ev EMU

Škoda is continuing the order for Type 16Ev EMUs for Pasažieru vilciens. After all four cars for the first unit were transported from Ostrava to Plzeň during April, they were laid onto their broad-gauge bogies and commissioned on the test track at the Škoda Transportation works.

Subsequently, the first unit undergoes a series of further tests on the 1,520 mm gauge test track. On 8 June, Rodgers Jānis Grigulis, Director of PV, visited Škoda Transportation to inspect the production progress of these new Latvian trains.
