SEVER-1435 started operation on the ŽSR network

On 22 August 2023 ŽSR officially launched operation of its new DV NDT diagnostic unit. The abbreviation stands for the term diagnostic vehicle for non-destructive testing, the manufacturer is the Moskva-based company TVEMA, whose type is SEVER-1435, in this case a two-car SEVER-1435 TWIN. Deliveries of this DMU formed by cars 9162 001 and 002 were handled by NDCon LOGIC of Praha and XML Team of Bratislava. Final assembly was carried out in the Czech Republic in Pardubice, by TRAK Rail of Nymburk.
