RZD‘s Class 3ES8 certified

On 17 August 2023 UL has received a certificate confirming the compliance of the Malakhit electric locomotive with the requirements of the TR TS 001/2011 Technical Regulations of the Customs Union. The certificate gives the plant an opportunity to start batch production of new locomotives.

Earlier, at the meeting of the interdepartmental acceptance commission held in June, it was confirmed that the design and technological documentation, as well as the Malakhit prototype met the requirements of the technical specification and the introductory batch of 50 locomotives was determined.
