Pop at Velim

In late June 2018, Alstom presented the first new Coradia Stream EMU, manufactured in its Savigliano factory. The same trainset, ETR 104, arrived at the VUZ Velim test base in early September and is seen here on 8 September 2018 on the large test ring. Trenitalia will put these trains in service gradually from 2019 in several regions, branded Pop, in line with the musically motivated names of the newly acquired types of units.
