At the end of October, 72 ICR cars were transported from Arnhem to the Czech Republic in three consecutive shipments. These coaches originally came from NS operations and were subsequently bought by Train Charter Services (TCS).
The purchase of these carriages was confirmed to the media by Leoš Novotný jr. (who carries out leasing activities through Leo Mobility Management), but as TCS stated when asked by Railvolution, the carriages are still in its ownership. This also corresponds to the fact that the cars are now stored in the Czech Republic before the contract is completed and the planned lease to the end user.
Two of the rakes were delivered to the Liberty Ostrava steelworks (whose sidings network is now also used to park unnecessary wagons due to the significantly reduced activity of the steelworks), and the third rake to Hodonín, where IDS CARGO has its operational base. The latter has arranged the transports on the Czech section (and TCS in other countries).
