Lastochka Meridian

Uralskie lokomotivy is at present also designing a double-deck long distance version of Lastochka, with the working name Meridian. The new train destined for RZD will have a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The project envisages single, double and four-bed compartments as well as VIP compartments and places for disabled passengers. The train will have a bistro car and a shower for increased comfort.
