Gmunden Restores Missing Link

At midday on an overcast, and rather damp 1 September 2018, on which a multi-coloured display of unfurled umbrellas dominated the scene, the inaugural tram ran over the new stretch of line linking the Traunseebahn and the Gmundner Tram urban line. Stern&Hafferl then operated a special passenger-carrying service from 13.00 onwards in connection with the festivities in the town centre, which continued until late in the evening.
