On 19 October 2022 at the Praha depot ČD took delivery of the last two of the planned ten Vectrons from the RSL. A total of 27 Vectrons will be available to ČD for the start of the 2023 timetable:
- 10 from ELL: 193 289 - 298,
- 16 from RSL: 193 681 - 690, 695 - 696, 698 - 699, 769, 963.
- 1 ČD owned locomotive 193 902 (used also by VUZ)
Of them ČD will operate a total of 24 Vectrons in the 2023 timetable:
- nine on the Ex 5 „Berliner“ line Praha - Berlin - Hamburg - Kiel - Flensburg/Rostock,
- nine on the Ex 6 „Západní expres“ line Praha - Plzeň - Cheb and R 15 „Krušnohor“ line in the Cheb - Ústí nad Labem section,
- six on the R 18 „Slovácký expres“ in the Praha - Staré Město u Uh. Hradiště section.
Three locomotives will be used as a reserve. ČD uses the triple voltage (3 kV DC, 25 kV 50 Hz, 15 kV 16.7 Hz) Vectrons with a power of 6,400 kW and a maximum speed of 200 km/h. Currently, Vectrons working for ČD run more than 20,000 km daily. They travel north to the German-Danish border to Flensburg and south to Budapest. The longest route served by a single Vectron is that between Hamburg and Budapest - more than 1,250 km, the locomotive running through four countries, where during the 14-hour journey several drivers take turns on the locomotive.
