DualShunter tested outside the factory for the first time

A prototype of a dual-mode locomotive developed by CZ LOKO has completed its first test runs outside the manufacturer's premises (and the adjacent test tracks). From the end of September to the beginning of November, 190.001 was tested in the siding operation of SD - Kolejová doprava, a transport subsidiary of the lignite mining group SD. The runs were conducted in both electric and diesel mode, mostly with the DualShunter alone, but some movements of rakes took place as well.

CZ LOKO produced two prototypes - 190.002, the second one, was exhibited at TRAKO 2023, after which the locomotive is now being finalised in the production plant.
