99 001 on the VUZ circuit

On 10 February 2025, the EURODUAL locomotive 99 001 for Beacon Rail and GB Railfreight, arrived in Velim from Spain. It was transported by ship to the port of Bremen, from where it was moved on rail by RailAdventure. The VUZ test laboratory will carry out quasi-static derailment safety tests on this Stadler-built dual power locomotive. It should be present for several months at Velim and will be joined by 99 002.
