VR Ordered More Restaurant Cars

Škoda Transportation announced today that its Škoda Transtech works will supply seven new double-deck restaurant cars to the Finnish Railways. The total value of the contract is approximately 24 million EUR. The new 200 km/h carriages will be put into service between 2021 and 2022 and will be produced at Kajaani works. Transtech has in the past produced 26 double-deck restaurant cars for VR.
