Rollout Of First Artic

On 13 June 2013 Transtech presented its latest new product at the company’s Otanmäki works, situated southeast of Oulu, around 500 km north of the Finnish capital: this was a new three-section low-floor tram for HKL of Helsinki, called Artic, and built by Transtech together with Voith. The photos were taken on the new 1 km long test track at the works. The latest products being built by Transtech for VR are the Class Edo driving trailers. Deliveries of the current batch of 12 are under way, with four driving trailers having been delivered to Helsinki for testing purposes by early June 2013.
