Primol-Rail With The Renewed Safety Certificate

On 13 April 2021, Primol-Rail, the Slovenian operator belonging to the PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL Group (PKP CI), has renewed its safety certificate for rail transport, valid until February 2026.
For Primol-Rail, this certificate confirms the approval of the safety management system of the railway operator, including the provisions and regulations adopted by companies in order to meet the specific requirements necessary for safe operation in accordance with EU Directive 2016/798 and relevant national legislation.
PKP CI acquired an 80 % stake in Primol-Rail in December 2018, and it uses its license especially on the north-south corridor, primarily for haulage of trains running between the port of Koper and the Czech or Slovak terminals in Paskov, Mělník and Bratislava.
