FNM and Stadler today signed in Milano a framework agreement for the supply of dieselelectric trains for the regional service. It will last eight years, guarantees a minimum quantity of 30 and a maximum of 50 DMUs. At the same time, FERROVIENORD, a 100 % FNM subsidiary, signed the first executive contract for 30 three-car trains (plus a Power module), worth 191,850,000 EUR. The price per unit is 6,395,000 EUR. The framework agreement also envisages the first-level maintenance and corrective maintenance. The delivery of the first 140 km/h 66.8 m long trains, which includes the time for construction and approval, is envisaged by 2021.
