First ČD Railjet Arrives On Czech Network

In the afternoon of 24 April 2014 the first ČD Railjet travelled from Wien to Praha. The rake of stock, seen here departing from Česká Třebová, was powered by ÖBB’s Taurus 1216 233, and at the front end was driving trailer 73 54 80-91 001. In a few weeks' time the train is to be put into preliminary regular commercial service between Praha and Břeclav.
