EURODUAL launches Balkan approval tour

In the coming weeks, one of the EURODUALs will make test runs in several Balkan countries as part of the type approval process there. The locomotive chosen for this purpose, ELP's 159 246, is already present in the Slovenian border station Jesenice and is envisaged to make test runs in Slovenia in the week of 5 June.

As we reported earlier, tests are scheduled for June and early July in Slovenia (there in the diesel traction only), Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro. Other countries such as Greece, Bulgaria, Romania or Northern Macedonia are announced to follow later.
