Bogie components for Class 2TE35A tested

On 26 October 2023, the main frame for two-axle bogies of the new Class 2TE35A diesel locomotives, manufactured by Uralskie lokomotivy, has successfully passed tests. This is the next stage in the long process of certification of the new machine, on which Sinara - Transport Machines (STM) is working together with suppliers.

The prototype of the bogie frame was examined at the VNIKTI institute in Kolomna. During fatigue and life tests, the frame underwent 10 million load cycles. Subsequently, the intermediate frame, which will link the two-axle bogies and the locomotive's main frame, was sent for similar tests.
