Transmontanas for Green Cargo complete

Softronic has completed the delivery of Transmontana locomotives for Green Cargo. The latter had ordered a total of four of these six-axle locomotives (480 076 - 079, Mb 4019 - Mb 4022) for delivery towards the end of the year.

As usual, the transports were organized by RailAdventure, with various other operators contracted with haulage outside Germany. One pair of Transmontanas was shipped north at the beginning of November, the other at the beginning of December, and thus the existing orders of the Swedish national operator were closed, at a number of 22 machines.

Production of these locomotives has long been taking place at a monthly frequency and should continue to do so next year. The other customers are operators from Romania, which owever in some cases are subsidiaries of foreign groups such as DB Cargo or LTE.
