RegioPanters For Latvia Ordered

On 30 July 2019, Škoda Vagonka announced that it had been confirmed as the winner of the Pasažieru Vilciens's tender and signed a contract for the supply of 32 single-deck EMUs. With this were definitively rejected the previous Talgo's repeated complaints.
The contract also includes the maintenance of these first 1,520 mm gauge RegioPanters, the supply of spare parts and staff training. The EMUs are scheduled for delivery between 2022 and 2023.
