Oberpfalzbahn Opts For LINK DMU Replacements

On 25 February 2015 Länderbahn announced that it had placed an order with Alstom for Lint 41 DMUs, to replace the batch of LINK DMUs which it had ordered for its Oberpfalzbahn services, and which have still not been granted authorisation. The Lint 41s are scheduled to be delivered in spring 2016. No further information has been released regarding the number of new Lint DMUs or to the contract with PESA. This photo, taken on 15 October 2014, shows 632 004 at Schwandorf depot during a presentation event. This was to be the maintenance base for the LINK fleet.
