New Life For Overhauled Ex-BDZ Class 43 Electrics

In October 2012 CZ LOKO, working together with ČMŽO Přerov, started to overhaul the first of four ex-BDZ Class 43 electrics, 43.555. The work was completed in early January 2013, and on the 9th of the month, bearing the new number 242.555, the locomotive made its first test run, running light engine between Nedakonice and Břeclav, as shown here. The other photos show the second and third Class 43s being overhauled.
