ŠKODA recently presented its latest version of designs for the new trains ordered in 2013 by DB Regio for its Nürnberg - Ingolstadt - München services. In total six electric locomotives with six-car push-pull double deck rakes of stock are to be built. The design of the locomotives is to be based on the manufacturer’s Type 109E and will be designated Class 102 by DB. These new trains are scheduled to enter commercial service in December 2016.
