More Karlsruhe Tram-Trains

On 29 March Stadler Rail València (formerly Vossloh España) announced that Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft (AVG), part of Verkehrsbetriebe Karlsruhe (VBK), had awarded it a follow-on contract for 25 more Citylink NET 2012 tram-trains, one of which is shown here at Frauenalb-Schielberg on 22 January 2016. This is the second option clause in the original 2011 contract, which was for 25 vehicles, with two options for up to 50 more, making a total of 75. The first option, also for 25, was taken up in spring 2015.
