At SBB there remain the last three green-painted Class Re 4/4 electric locomotives, which are used in regular service all over Switzerland, two of them by SBB Cargo. One of fhese, 430 364, was captured in Witherthur on 14 April 2020 hauling a postal train. During the corona crisis the demand for parcels is extremely high, which is why the postal trains have become very long. This almost 400 m long train runs from Frauenfeld to Härkingen, where there is a Swiss Post distribution centre. Normally these trains have only five to seven wagons.
The second photo taken on 18 April 2020 in Winterthur shows an unusual double traction. The two green Class Re 4/4 machines of SBB Cargo propelled train 50756 from Gossau SG to the Limmattal marshalling yard.
