Conditional Approval For Class 380s Extended

The ŠKODA-built Class 380 electrics have still not received their full authorisation. They continue to operate in the Czech Republic only and under conditional authorisation. At the end of 2012 the conditional authorisations given to the locomotives expired, and so it became necessary to issue extensions, these valid until 30 June 2013. Here we see 380.005, 007, 008, 012 and 014, on the way to ŠKODA to be upgraded, on 9 January 2013 being hauled by ČD Cargo's 363.522 from Praha to Plzeň, crossing the Vltava river on the line between Praha-Krč and Praha-Radotín.
