ASTRA Builds Sleepers For Own Use

ASTRA Vagoane Călători is currently building batches of new carriages for use on overnight services operated by its own licensed rail operating subsidiary. These photos were taken at Arad station on 4 November 2016 between test runs. The vehicle closest to the camera is sleeping car WLABmz 61 81 70-90 001 together with couchette car Bcmz 61 81 50-90 002. The other photo shows the interior of the staff compartment in the sleeper.
