Arriva In The Czech Republic From December 2012

The Pars nova works is currently realising modifications to and re-livering ex-DB DMU 628 246, which is the first of a batch of these trains to be imported from Germany for use on services provided by Arriva`s Czech subsidiary Arriva vlaky, eventually linking Kralupy nad Vltavou, Praha and Benešov u Prahy, to be introduced from December 2012. Arriva`s objective is to develop a series of routes radiating from the Czech capital serving various destinations on non-electrified lines, thus eliminating the need for passengers to change en route from electric to diesel local trains. Here we see 628 246, which now carries the Czech number 845.001, having new vinyls applied.
