The approval for test commercial service of the six Vectron MS electrics was validated on 11 November 2014. Overnight on 14/15 November ELL’s 193 214 was the first locomotive to use this, being moved from Linz to Horní Dvořiště and then travelling light engine to Praha. This is one of three machines RegioJet is to hire for its Bratislava - Košice services. On the 15th, 16th and 17th, it hauled RJ’s domestic Czech services, train IC 1007 from Praha to Havířov on 15 November being the very first of them - this photo shows it in Ostrava hl. n.
On 10 November 2014 sixteen Vectron DC locomotives were also granted approval for test commercial service on the Czech network, but only between three border stations (Petrovice u Karviné, Bohumín, Lichkov) and adjacent points of border, in service of DB Schenker Rail Polska.
On 14 November 2014 Vectron MS was granted approval for test commercial service in Slovakia.
